No matter how much you are denigrated,

We must believe in goodness of human nature.

No matter how many obstacles you face,

We must always practice the way of the sages.

Wei Xi said

For those who can be content, God cannot make him poor;

For those who can endure humiliation, God cannot bring disaster to him;

For those who can ask for nothing, God cannot make him humble;

For those who do not cling to their external body,

then there will be no such thing as illness or pain

Those who are fearless, not greedy for life and fear of death, God will not let him die early;

Those who can live with the situation, God will not make him distressed;

Those who can cultivate talents, God cannot make him lonely;

Those who are able to take up the important responsibility of ruling the country and pacifying generation

will not be extinguished.
