「念彼觀音即是念自性觀音」

觀世音菩薩是一個學位，觀音名慈悲。所以我們如果每一個人，都照著祂教我們的方法去訓練自己，改自己的個性，改成像祂一樣，你們每一個人就都是觀世音菩薩，所以那時候就是，「念彼觀音即是念自性觀音」，念彼慈悲觀音即是把自性慈悲「念」出來、「秀」出來。

The title of Guanshiyin Bodhisattva is like a degree. Guanyin means compassion.If we can train ourselves the ways he teaches us and modify our personalities,we will be Guanshiyin. Therefore, you chant the mark of Guanshiyin. That is, you are showing the compassion of your won nature.
